David Blankenship, better known as Dave Blankenship, is best known for his appearance on Tales from Oak Island (2024), The Curse of Oak Island (2014). He is the son of Dan Blankenship, a former The Curse of Oak Island producer. David and his father are two of the three island’s permanent residents.
He is a successful art director, who contributed to the art in the Horror/Action film, The First Purge (2018). For his great art, he was nominated for a Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design.
