Ed Greenwood is a Canadian writer who is best known for being the creator of the Forgotten Realms game world. Started writing about Forgotten Realms as a child in the 60s. In 1979, he began writing articles and stories for the Dragon Magazine. Later on, he sold the Forgotten Realms setting rights to TSR, creators of Dungeons and Dragons.
As a child, he thought of Forgotten Realms to be his dream space for swords and sorcery stories. Today, he is actively sharing the stories of Forgotten Realms to all around the world through his YouTube channel (@edgreenwoodofficial). He has almost 65k subscribers on his channel. He has written hundreds of novels and books.
