Margaret Jane Pauley is an American news anchor, reporter, and a television host who is best known for hosting The Jane Pauley Show. From 1976 to 1989, she was a co-anchor of NBC morning show Today. After Barbara Walters, she is considered as one of the best American female anchor and television host of all time. For the most part of her career, she worked for the NBC.

She has been married to Garry Trudeau since 1980. Her husband is a cartoonist. Recently, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
