Pop star Victoria Louise Lott aka Pixie Lott in her comeback, realizing that the music industry has changed so much in a decade. She has found herself caught off guard.
Pixie Lott is set to release her first album, ‘Encino’ after a decade at the end of this year. Since being distanced from the music industry so long, the “Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)” singer has found herself experiencing how much the industry has changed over the past few years.
Hit ‘Turn It Up’ album singer whilst talking with the MailOnline has stated: “It feels crazy that it’s been ten years because I just don’t know how that’s happened – like, I have done lots of different things throughout the ten years but I never meant for it to be that long to release an album.
“I feel the music industry has changed so much though and I feel like I’m still kind of learning the ropes because my brain is still on how it was before.”
She continued: “Now people aren’t really bothered about chart positions anymore and back in the day it was always like, ‘We’re going to promote it and then focus on that release week and then go for that chart position’ and now people are not talking about that at all.”
Furthermore, she anticipated being ready to tour with her new album. It is a part of her new era. The 2010 Ultimate Women of the Year Awards winner is now married to an English model and designer, Oliver Cheshire. The two originally had been dating since 2010 and at the end of last year the couple welcomed a son, Albert Charles.
Nevertheless, Pixie Lott major influences regarding the music continued to be the Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.
