After the game when asked by Bill Belichick about the dropping of Jones and bringing up Bailey Zappe who only played four games in his career before appearing this season.

He replied, “I Thought both guys deserved a chance to play”.

His best performance has come against a very strong team Pittsburgh Steelers which was called upset. In a week 2 match of Patriots against the Steelers where Zappe finished with three touchdowns only in the first half where he threw 240 passing yards.

Moreover, his performance against the Kansas Cheifs has been something extraordinary where he has a passing rating of over 85.4. Overall, his second best and his team tried really hard but in the end, it was the Chiefs who won the match.

This game showed that the offense from the New England Patriots is becoming stronger and they are showing some resistance.

This season is almost over for the Patriots but the boys are still giving their best performances and giving some thrilling matches. Overall Zappe may be the good replacement that the team needed for a long time.
