Vincent Edward Scully, also known as Vin Scully, is a broadcaster, sportscaster, announcer, and a voice of the Dodgers. Famed for his Major League Baseball broadcasts. He is considered as one of the greatest sports broadcaster of all time. For the good sixty years, he was the announcer of play-by-play for the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers.
For his amazing contribution to the broadcasting and baseball, he was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame and NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. His ability to connect generations of great baseball history and gives an unbiased analysis is what made him so great. He got married two times, Sandra Hunt (m. 1973–2021) and Joan Crawford (m. 1958–1972). He had four children, including Cat Scully and Michael A. Scully. In addition, he has two stepchildren, twenty-one grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Scully passed away on August 2, 2022, at his home in the Hidden Hills section of Los Angeles. The Dodgers announced his death in a very sad tweet. No cause of death was given in his obituary.

After watching the 1936 World Series, he became a very big Giants fan of a Baseball only at the age of 8. Initially, he worked as a delivery man. He served in the United States Navy for two years. In the 1950 National League season, he joined the Dodgers’ radio and never looked back.
