Teen Pop Singer Aaron Carter is not the first person from the Carter family that succumbed to drug addiction.
Angel, who had witnessed her sister Leslie passing away in 2012 from substance abuse, predicted the fate of her Twin brother Aaron long before it actually occurred.
This week, on Taylor and Tay Lautner’s podcast The Squeeze, Angel stated: “She feared Aaron’s eventual death her entire twenties.” She continued, “I knew this day was going to come. I think he knew it, too, as he could not get out.”
Aaron Carter, after inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam, the generic form of brand-name Xanax, accidentally drowned in his home in Lancaster, California on November 5, 2022. His housekeeper found his body in a bathtub.
Bobbie Jean is the third person from the Carter family that fell to substance abuse. In 2023, he overdosed on fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Due to the past family tragedies, she was ready for her brother’s departure. She stated: “What’s so interesting about Leslie’s passing… she passed away when I was 23, her death completely blindsided me. I didn’t see that one coming. When she died, I was already in therapy, preparing for Aaron’s death. I thought he was gonna die.”
She also shared how she simply wasn’t the person for Carter to improve and overcome addiction : “I was the peacemaker in my family, the mediator. Like, Let’s just hug it out. It’s gonna be okay. And he didn’t wanna hear that from me. He needed his parents to step up.”
Nick Carter, 44 and Angel Carter, 36 are the last two siblings of the family.
Aaron Carter at only age nine released ‘Aaron Carter’ album which sold a million copies worldwide. The artist second album “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) was released in 2000.” The album sold over three million copies worldwide. Among the pre-teens and teens, he was an immensely famous guy.
Even after one and half year of his passing, he is still searched by millions of people worldwide. His songs continuing to be enjoyed by his followers.
