In January 1976, she and her colleagues founded a law firm named Allred, Maroko, & Goldberg. She met President Ronald Reagan in 1986. During her long-lasting career, she fought for gender equality and women empowerment.
Allred has been married twice. Her first marriage was with Peyton Huddleston Bray, Jr (m. 1960-1962). They were married for only two years. She and Peyton had one child, Lisa Bloom.
